Source – Druginfozone – The United States Food and Drug Agency (FDA) has approved GlaxoSmithKline Relenza (zanamivir) for preventing influenza in adults and children aged 5 and over.
The inhaled drug is licensed in the UK to treat adults and children over 12 years of age for influenza A and B viruses.
