Source – The Pharmaceutical Journal 1/10/05 – In The British National Formulary for Children (BNF-C) pg 290 column 1, there is an error in the dose of Cefalexin for a child aged 12-18 years. The dose should read “Child 12-18 years 500mg 2-3 times daily, increased to 1-1.5G 3-4 times daily for severe infection”. Digital versions of BNF-C have been amended to show the correct dose.
